    Notes :

    • You could make this apple juice with a tablespoon of lemon juice too. And avoid lemon juice if your child has a citrus allergy.
    • Skip sweetener if the apples are sweet enough.
    • The apple sauce has to be thick. Add water accordingly while blending the apples.
    • The apple sauce can be stored in an airtight container and the fridge for a week.
    • You can also strain the apple juice through a strainer instead of making apple juice from the apple sauce and collect the juice in a vessel. In that case, add more water while blending the apples.
    • You can add ice cubes to the juice if you want it more chilled. But it's not advisable for small children.
    • Always remember that breast milk or formula should be a significant source of nutrition for babies until one year hence give juices to the baby occasionally or when the baby is sick.
    • If making this juice for babies aged 6-12 months, Skip sugar & ice cubes.

How many times juice can be given to the baby? My baby is 10 mnths old.
She is passing very hard stool as she is also having cold and cough. So doctor told me that anti-allergic medicines make stools hard.

I want to know the total quantity and total serving for 10 mnth old baby.

      Thanks

Start with veg or fruit purees. Slowly move to soft mashed foods by a month or so. Banana, apple, carrot, pumpkin are great first foods. Next chikku, papaya, beets, bottle gourd, rice porridge, ragi porridge, etc. one meal a day will do for 6 months. Avoid salt, sugar, and honey until one year.
