Poha Chivda Recipe for Toddlers and Kids2
Poha Chivda - easy healthy dry evening snack recipe made with poha & nuts. This quick snack recipe is iron rich and loaded with goodness of nuts. Also its ideal when you travel with your toddler/kid as it can be made ahead, packed up and eaten during your journey. This poha chivda is usually made with deep fried thick poha and nuts, to make it healthier I have opted for shallow fry and used thin poha. It turned out great and tasty too. This poha chivda can be given to babies after 1 year or once they started eating all family foods.
Here is how to make easy and healthy poha chivda recipe for toddlers and kids.

    Notes :

    • Use only thin poha for this recipe. If you use thick poha, you should deep fry them instead of shallow frying.
    • Squeeze a teaspoon of lemon juice while serving to get the tangy taste.
    • Make sure to cut the nuts into tiny pieces or powder it well for babies below 2 years in order to avoid choking hazard.
    • It keeps well for a week if stored in an air tight container and handled properly.
    • You can add green chillies for more spiciness.
    • Always check with your doctor before giving any new food to your baby.
    • Make sure to introduce everything separate to your baby before you try this poha Chivda.
