Soaking overnight make it release more oil. Hence the powder may form lumps. So its mot recommended

There is no replacement for saffron and cardamom. You can simply skip them and make powder. Cardamom and saffron are added to give additional flavour and also to ensure easier digestion.

Hi i made today not grinded too much. But after grinding its oily n sticky .why?? I dry roasted too.

    28. gkfooddiary

      March 19, 2018 at 5:42 am

      two reasons
      1. you should ground in 10 sec intervals...and the blender/mixie shouldn't be wet(completely dry).. Good quality blender ground fine..I used preethi brand mixie
      2. dry roast until dry..dry roasting for long time may result sticky powder..
Now you can store the powder in refrigerator and use

      March 06, 2019 at 12:03 am

I don't think it can be added to formula milk. Instead, You can try adding to any baby food like purees, porridges, soups, stews, pancakes, etc

    32. Kalyani

      November 05, 2019 at 10:40 pm

If you sieved adequately, then most of it will get resolved while boiling milk. If not, you can add the powder to the boiling milk and mix for 2 mins, then switch off the flame.
