Poha Porridge Recipe for Babies and Toddlers
Poha Porridge - easy and no cook recipe made with flattened rice that can be served as breakfast for kids

- Thick Poha - ½ cup
- Hot Water - ½ cup
- Banana - 1 small
- Jaggery Powder/Dates Powder - 1 tbsp
- Nuts Powder - 1 Tsp
- Breastmilk/Formula Milk/Cows Milk - 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Take ½ cup of poha in a bowl. Wash and drain the water completely. Use thick poha variety, which is soft enough to mash with 5 minutes of soaking.
- Add ¼ cup of hot water to the drained poha. Cover it with a lid and set this aside for 5 minutes.
- Take a banana, peel and mash it with a fork. You can also use soft mashable fruits like papaya, chikku, etc. instead of banana.
- Now to the soaked poha, add the mashed banana and jaggery powder/dates powder.
- Now add in nuts powder. Mash it very well until a soft consistency is reached.
- Now add breastmilk/formula. Mix it once again and serve! For babies above one year, you can use cows milk.
