Eggs are so versatile and protein packed. I am a huge fan of eggs. This is my first post with eggs and planning to share more egg recipes in this space. Egg omelette recipe may sound simple for a post but I just want to keep my favorite recipe in my blog. Egg omelette is very simple to make with few ingredients and you can have it anytime as a snack. Best for breakfast when paired with bread toast. Sometimes I make it as bread omelette and have it. Will share the recipe soon. Egg omelette goes well with sambar and rasam too.
- Eggs - 3
- Onion - 1 medium sized
- Green chillies - 1
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - as needed
- Take eggs,onion & green chilli. Break eggs in a mixing bowl and discard the shell. Beat them well with a whisk.
- Chop the onions & green chillies finely and mix well with beaten eggs along with salt. Keep it ready.
- Heat a dosa tawa, add a laddle of egg batter to it and spread it over the tawa. Add a tsp of oil over it and sprinkle half a tsp of pepper powder over it.Cook for three minutes and flip the omelette.Cook for another two minutes and remove it from tawa. Repeat the same process for the remaining batter.
2. Finely chopped ginger and coriander leaves can be added while mixing the batter.
