Cucumber Raita Recipe for Toddlers and Kids

Cucumber Raita - easy raita made in Kerala style with cucumber, curd and grated coconut which goes well with paratha, roti, pulao and variety rice. Cucumber raita is ideal for babies from one year. I usually make simple cucumber raita without coconut, but this time for Onam (a festival celebrated in Kerala, South India), I tried with coconut and it was equally good. This cucumber raita is known as cucumber pachadi in Kerala and offered as one of the main item for onam sadya/feast.

Here is how to make cucumber raita recipe for toddlers and kids.

    Notes :
    • You could also grate the cucumber for small babies if they don't prefer to eat them as such.
    • Skip green chillies and tempering for small kids.
    • Always check with your baby's doctor before giving any new food to your baby.
