Fruits custard - a delicious dessert made with cut fruits, milk and custard powder. I always prefer to have fruits as such hence I would prefer this fruits custard as a rare treat. But this fruits custard recipe is definitely one of the best way to have fruits for the kids who don't want to eat fruits.

This fruits custard can be given to babies after one year. Custard powder is made up of corn flour/corn scratch and vanilla extract. Hence you could try this recipe with a tablespoon of corn flour and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract if you couldn't source custard powder. Now Let's get on to check how to make this easy fruits custard recipe for toddlers & kids.

    Notes :
    • Custard gets little thicken after cooled down and refrigeration, so switch off the flame accordingly.
    • Skip honey or sugar if the natural sweetness of fruits are enough.
    • Avoid whole nuts for small babies, instead use dry fruits powder or almond powder.
    • For small babies, cut the fruits into tiny pieces or add mashed fruits instead.
    • If the custard gets thicken, adjust with milk.
    • You can also add mangoes, pomegranate or any seasonal fruits of your choice except citrus fruits and melons.
    • Make sure to introduce each ingredients separate to your baby, before you try this fruits custard recipe.
    • Always check with your pediatrician before introducing any new food.
