Peanut Sesame Ladoo Recipe for Toddlers and Kids Peanut sesame ladoo - Healthy, iron and protein-rich balls made with peanuts, sesame seeds, and jaggery. It is easy and quick to prepare within 15 minutes. This ladoo recipe does not even need ghee, the oil released from peanuts and sesame are enough to hold the ladoo together. This peanut sesame ladoo can be given to kids from one year and makes a tasty, healthy snack and best weight gaining recipe for toddlers and kids.

Word of caution: Peanuts are one of the possible allergen food, so I would recommend trying this ladoo after introducing peanuts separately. Many pediatricians recommend to start peanuts after one year, but please check with your pediatrician about introducing peanuts to your baby.

    Notes :
    • Don't grind peanuts and sesame seeds too much as the ladoo may taste bitter.
    • You can also use peanuts with skin to make this ladoo. Dry roast the peanuts with skin until skin from the peanuts are splitting up. Peel the peanut skins by rubbing between your hands and blow the skin. Then continue with the remaining steps.
    • You can add more amount of jaggery if you like a more sweet taste.
    • Store the ladoos in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerator depends on the weather. It stays well for a week.
    • Always check with your doctor before giving any new food to your baby.
    • Make sure to introduce everything separate to your baby before you try this peanut sesame ladoo.
