    Chikoo banana mash for babies

Chikoo banana mash is an easy peasy recipe that can be done in a jiffy as it requires no cooking, and hence It's ideal for travel too. The combination of chikoo and banana makes a wonderfully delicious taste. My baby used to whip this yummy mash-up in a matter of minutes.

    Chikoo for babies:

Chikoo, sapota, or sapodilla, can be given to babies after seven months once they are introduced to essential fruits like bananas, apples, pears, etc. Chikoo is an excellent source of iron, copper, and potassium. It also helps the baby to improve weight gain and immunity. When introducing chikoo for babies, introduce it as plain chikoo puree without bananas. If there are no allergies, try this chikoo banana mash.

Healthy and yummy chikoo banana mash is ready to feed your baby.

    Notes :

    • Include chikoo in the baby's diet after introducing apples, bananas, pears, etc.
    • When selecting chikoo, choose the ripe ones. Ripen chikoo will yield out when you press with your thumb. Also, choose a ripened banana to make this mash.
    • You can mash it with a fork/masher/hand instead of blending.
    • Add breast milk or formula milk to make a suitable consistency.
    • Generally, chikoo or banana doesn't cause any allergies, but check for symptoms and stop feeding your baby if you find any.
    • Always check with your pediatrician before introducing any new food.

Ma’m..after eating this puree suddenly my baby’s lips were so sticky that both of lips stuck together. I had to massage oil to get rid of the stickyness. Could you please advise, if I did anything wrong.

If you use unripe chikku fruit, it sticks in the lips. Make sure to use well riped chikku.

Chikkoo upon mashing yields sticky threads and a very lil amt of whitish liquid. Is it okay to feed it
