Ingredients

  • Coffee Powder - 3 heaped tsp
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Water - ½ cup or as needed
  • Sugar - 1 tsp

Instructions

  • The first step is to prepare decotion. Boil water in a saucepan until rolling boil. In the mean time, take coffee filter and add measured coffee powder in the upper part of the filter.
  • After adding the coffee powder , press the powder gently with your hand first and then with the pressing disc. Don't press too hard that will make the dripping of decoction slower. If you press too loose, the dripping will be faster and the result will be watery decoction. So be gentle with your press. Now add the boiled water to it and close with a lid.
  • Keep it undisturbed for 10 to 15 minutes. In the meantime, boil milk in a sauce pan and keep it ready.
  • After 10 minutes, open the filter and collect the decoction in a container(This  is the first decoction which is very thick. If you want to collect the second decoction, add boiled water again to the filter and brew for second time). Add 2 to 3 tablespoon of decoction per coffee to the milk and froth it well.
