Oats Apple Porridge Recipe for Babies, Toddlers, and Kids

- Homemade oatmeal Cereal/ Whole oats - ¼ cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Medium sized Apple - 1
Take ¼ cup of whole oats or oatmeal cereal mix in a saucepan. Add 1 cup of water and mix well with a whisk. Make sure there are no lumps remained. Add sweetener at this stage if using. Give a quick stir. Cook the porridge for 5 minutes until it becomes slightly thick.
In the meantime, wash the apples thoroughly and peel the skin using a peeler. Then grate the apples using a grater. Keep it ready.
Once the porridge is cooked well, add grated apples. Mix well.
Cook it further for 3-5 minutes until the apples are cooked well and switch off the flame. Cool it down and serve warm. If using breastmilk/formula, add it once the porridge is cooled down.
